my new favorite necklace
This is actually a combination of 2 patterns I liked. The "based on" link shows how to make the necklace but I replaced the flower portion with this flower pattern:

(If you are wondering how it fastens, there is a crochet loop behind the flower that you pull the vines through.)

@Disinterred - That sounds like a great idea! I can't wait to see the result!

@Pearl B. - I feel honored to be featured in your blog, but please don't forget to give credit to the 2 women who wrote the patterns for the parts of the necklace as well. Happy

-This- makes me want to make a squid necklace. I'd replace the flower with a squid body and replace the third vine with eight leafless vines. In fact, I think I'm going to go try my hand at that right now.
