Untangle your embroidery flosses and store them neatly easily!

    Step 1

    First of all, you need to make a template - it should be a rectangle with two wider bits at either side - kind of like a bobbin.

    Draw around this on to thick card.

    Draw out lots of these - it's easier to make lots at once.

    Cut them out.

    Cut a little slit at one of the inside corners.

    Place one end of the floss through the slit and neatly wrap the rest of the floss round the middle of the card.

    When it's all wrapped neatly it should look like this.

    You can then keep each of the threads organzied by colour in a plastic take-out container.
