I was throwing out cushions, and my mum needed a new peg bag
Very easy to make, no sewing required!
I was throwing out old cushions and decided to recycle them.
My mums old peg bag was wearing through so I decided to take and old cushion and convert it into a peg bag for her.

  • How to make a peg bag. Old Cushion + Old Peg Bag = New Peg Bag And Stuffing! - Step 1
    Step 1

Open the cushion and take out the stuffing. Store the stuffing for use in another project.
Take the piece of wood (with the hook) out of the old peg bag.
At the top of the cushion cover (where it does up) measure halfway and mark. this is for the wood piece which has the hanger to go through.

    Step 2

I stuck a piece of duck tape to the inside where the hole is to reinforce it. I then put a small hole in the tape.
Put the hanger bit through the hole and do up the cushion. (Mine was a zip)

  • Step 3

Take the scissors and cut a hole to fit you hand through. Mine is big enough to get your hand inside in a rush, like when it suddenly starts to rain.

    Step 4

Take the duck tape and line the hole with it. I cut a piece for the side and folded it over, then I did the other side, then top and bottom.

I decorated mine as my mum wanted it to say peg bag or something like that.
