A case I made to cover a small mirror
My mum asked me to make this for a co-worker to give to her friend as the mirror came in a paper case.
I used a blanket stitch and a button to keep it closed.

it's simple, just cut a strip of fabric big enough to go around the mirror, sew it up, cut a slit for the button, sew the button on and you're done.
