Add a bit of fun to your office or kitchen walls with some simple pin boards - perfect for pinning those little notes or photos.

    Step 1

    Supplies needed -
    Sturdy pair of scissors
    Pencil
    Paint brush
    Acrylic or fabric paint
    Pin board - Mine was called Acoustic Polyester Pin Board at Bunnings

    Sketch your design onto the board with pencil and cut out using a sturdy pair of scissors.

    Paint your patterns. I opted for a simple, bold geo pattern because I thought it gave the mini houses a cute Scandi feel, but a bit of colour would work well too.

    The pin board soaks up a lot of paint so if you're mixing a colour be sure to make lots.

  • Step 4

    Hang to the wall by either gluing some ribbon to the back as a hook, or use 3M velcro strips.
