Nice sweet lemon cake.
You can eat it with or without the icing.
The recipe can easily be doubled.

You Will Need

Step 1Heat oven 180 degrees.
Beat together flour, butter, sugar & eggs.

Step 2Pour half the batter into a tin.

Step 3spoon the lemon curd over the cake batter.

Step 4Dollop the remaining batter over the top.
Smooth out a little.
Bake for 30 mins until cooked through.

Step 5Mix icing sugar, lemon juice & water.
Pour over the cake.
Allow to cool completely.

Step 6Cut & serve.
