Awesome, long lasting, up-cycled for function
To start this make such you know what size brushes you'll be storing in this if you have them nearby that will help with the measuring.
I was asked to make this for a friend and I'm very pleased with it.
1.)I used some new and old leather to create the basic shapes.Add a fold at bottom to give the bottom of brushes a little more stability. Cut your own leather strips for the tying part.
2.)Punch out the holes matching the other side to it as well.Add rivets using cutting board under project. The hammer is used to attach them.
3.)Thread cord through along top third and bottom third. I reinforced the knot with a small piece of leather scrap punched w/ a hole.I did the same for tying straps but incorporated them with the rivet design.
* this roll is in thirds when full then simply tie.{I also made some of the spaces closer for smaller brushes.}
