Step 1Make a silhouette stencil of the shape you want to make. I used the bat stencil from my Ghetto Stomper shoes (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/ghetto-stompers/) but any silhouette or simple shape works.

Step 2Layer fabric under the stencil cutouts and create 2 identical shapes (3 if you want the lace)

Step 3Lay out ribbon, chain, or cord and arrange the fabric shapes.

Step 4Glue one bat to each strand of ribbon. using a hot glue gun. Place the second identical bat over the other so the ribbon is completely covered. Attach the lace bat in the same way.

Step 5Secure the ribbons at the neck with a metal cuff or glue.

I'd love to try this but just have a question - how do you glue the lace onto the fabric?
