  • How to make a chain necklace. Lace Bats - Step 1
    Step 1

    Make a silhouette stencil of the shape you want to make. I used the bat stencil from my Ghetto Stomper shoes (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/ghetto-stompers/) but any silhouette or simple shape works.

    Step 2

    Layer fabric under the stencil cutouts and create 2 identical shapes (3 if you want the lace)

    Lay out ribbon, chain, or cord and arrange the fabric shapes.

    Step 4

    Glue one bat to each strand of ribbon. using a hot glue gun. Place the second identical bat over the other so the ribbon is completely covered. Attach the lace bat in the same way.

    Step 5

    Secure the ribbons at the neck with a metal cuff or glue.
