• 

  Step 1

  Start with choosing which beads you want to work with. For this project, I use the clear beads. (About 6 of them worked well for me.)

• 

  Step 2

  Measure your string around your head and cut what's needed it. Wrapping it around 2 times should be plenty to work with.

• 

  Step 3

  Tie one end of the string to your hair tie. You can choose any color. It would really add to the illusion if it matched your hair color!

• 

  Step 4

  String your beads on one at a time.

• 

  Step 5

  After the bead is on, take the end of string and go through the bead again.

• 

  Step 6

  Your bead should now be securely in place on the string.

• 

  Step 7

  After you have added all the beads and secured them, tie the end of your string to your hair tie and cut off any excess string.

• 

  Step 8

  Your finished headband should look something like this. Feel free to experiment with your bead choices and colors.

• 

  Step 9

  This is how the headband will look on your head. The string completely disappears!
