You Will Need

Step 1Gather your supplies: two colors of polish in a similar finish, a few cosmetic wedges, and some foil.

Step 2Paint your nails with your base color and add a top coat. The topcoat will make it easier to correct any mistakes.

Step 3Apply two stripes of your polishes to a cosmetic sponge. Your base color should be closest to the edge.

Step 4Blot a few times on the foil to remove the excess.

Step 5Blot onto the nail. Repeat using a back-and-forth motion until the colors are well blended. You can use the same sponge for the whole hand, reapplying color to is as needed.

Step 6While your nails are still wet, apply another coat of topcoat to help blend the colors and smooth any bumps. Enjoy your awesome manicure.
