A cute little headband to add to any hair style
Easy and simple to make, as long as you know how to braid! Goes great with ponytails and other hair styles.

    Step 1

    Cut out or get three pieces of fabric about 18 1/2 inches long each. Doesn't matter the colors. I got the fabric from the bottoms of old t shirts I was cutting up.

    Take the small rubber band ((A color close to the fabric is better so it blends in) and tie off one end. The amount of ruffle you leave at the end is your choice.

    Braid the fabric. Try to keep it as straight as you can.

    You should end up with something like this.

    Now you need a piece of elastic. The length depends on the size of your head. Mine is 5 inches.

    If you don't have elastic available, I cut mine out of the top of an old pair of pj's.

    Take you hot glue gun and glue on the elastic to the back of your headband. Hold until the glue dries.

    Once everything is set, stretch out the fabric a little if it is feeling stiff.

    Then you are done!!

    If it doesn't like to stay in your hair, bobby pins on the elastic part keep it better in place.
