Step 1
Sew bird's tail and wings
Cut cloths into shapes as the picture shows with seam allowance. They are a top, a belly, two sides, two tails and four wings respectively from left to right. Note that we need to shear an opening on two of them which place at the bottom. Place right sides of tails and wings face to face, sew a tail and two wings by straight stitch. Overlap their sides of outside fabric on cotton lining and sew them with the cotton lining. Cut out extra cotton linings according to the stitches. Trim the seam allowance into teeth shape. -
Step 2
Sew body of bird
Turn the tail and wings inside out, sew some decorative stitches on them. The body of bird is made of one top, two sides and a belly. Pay attention to the position of the top and two sides should be like the following second picture. Take one side fabric and sew it with one side of the top fabric aligning the positions by back stitch.
