This is really easy and fun! It doesn't work as well on dark hair! Make sure it's sugar free or it'll make your hair all sticky!
This is really easy and fun! It doesn't work as well on dark hair! Make sure it's sugar free or it'll make your hair all sticky! I hope you like it! Sorry i didn't post a pic of my hair with Kool Aid, my camera isn't working so these are pics of the internet! The girl in the pic isn't me but she's done it to her hair and this is how it came out! Please post Versions of your hair so people will know what it looks like! I highly suggest blonde hair for this! Enjoy!

  • Step 1

    Collect your ingredients!

  • Step 2

Open the Kool Aid package(s) and poor into the bowl!

  • Step 3

Put enough Hair Conditioner into the bowl as needed to cover the parts of your hair you'd like dyed!

  • Step 4

Mix the Kool-Aid and the Hair Conditioner VERY thoroughly!

  • Step 5

Once the mixture is complete, apply to your hair and leave in your hair AS LONG AS POSSIBLE for the best results!

This process is intended for people with bleached hair! Your results will be at their peak if your hair is bleached in the spot(s) where you would like the Kool-Aid to settle in and take it's form!

  • Step 6

Once you cannot have the mixture in your hair any longer, rinse it out. DO NOT SHAMPOO IMMEDIATELY!

  • Step 7

Dry your hair with a blow dryer!

  • Step 8

Ta-Da! You have just dyed your hair with Kool-Aid!

i want to dye my hair with purple kool-aid. my hair is bleached, and i was wondering, can anyone tell me (message please!) if i should try and take the yellow out of my hair first? will the yellow mess with the purple coloring? or will it be fine to leave the yellow in?

Kool Aid is like a powdered fruit drink. It's non-carbonated and it comes in packets of powder that you mix with water and sugar to drink.

Ok, I don't mean to sound like an absolute loser but we don't have Kool Aid in Australia as far as I know so can I just ask what it is? I thought it was a soft drink, but everyone is talking about packets of it.
Thanks!!!
