Make a sweet little mushroom to put on the xmas tree
I made this project with wool left over from other projects and are really fun to make. One mushroom can be done in an evening. I have to admit I actually used a combination of 2 patterns, the the grey shroomie friends mushroom (on 'the created using a how-to here' link) and the drops crochet mushroom on the link below:

http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pattern.php?id=4876&lang=us

I mostly used the shroomie mushroom pattern, but crocheted the foot directly onto the hat, (this is because I'm lazy and didn't want to make the mushroom in two parts). However I wouldn't recommend it as I lost that nice sticky-outy lip on the mushroom thats in the original pattern. If I make it again I won't faff with the pattern, lol.

I've also made the drops mushroom, but haven't posted pics on here. It worked well, but I think the shroomie pattern ones look better (and more realistic).

Oh, I almost to forgot to mention, I added the ribbon instead of a crocheted chain, as I thought it looked nicer. Theres a little hole in the top of the hat that you can thread the ribbon through and sew to make a loop.
