Chocolate Pound Cake
Delicious soft, moist & chocolately cake.

Step 1Heat oven 180 degrees.
In a pan melt butter.

Step 2Add sugar & cocoa.
Stir through.
Add milk
Bring to a boil for 1 min.

Step 3Reserve 1 cup of liquid & pour over chocolate.
Set aside (for glaze).

Step 4Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks.

Step 5Add the eggs, one at a time, to the remaining butter mixture.

Step 6Add the flour, baking powder & salt to the butter/egg mixture.

Step 7Fold in the egg whites.

Step 8Pour into a tin.
Bake for 30-35 mins.
Allow to cool completely

Step 9Pour the glaze over the cake.

Step 10Cut & serve.
