Cute...yet creepy.
I found these at a cake shop with my friend for 25¢ each, so I bought 4. I decided to make earrings just because it'd be weird...I don't know, good for Halloween or something. You don't need to use babies if that's too gross, my friend made some Lego earrings that were really fun.

  • Step 1

First find 2 small toys. You could use plastic babies (like me), animals, dinosaurs, Barbie heads or shoes or any toys really. Make sure they are light weight though or it'll really hurt after wearing them for a while.

You will need wire, from a craft or bead store. I used 20 gauge but you might use something even smaller. The thing is, it needs to be the same or smaller than your sewing needle.

  • Step 2

This part is gruesome, I'm sorry...but it must be done. Take the sewing needle and warm the ending half inch (or so) with the lighter. Immediately stick into the head of the toy so the plastic melts. Keep heating and stabbing until there is a good size hole that goes all the way through. Take out the needle and repeat with the other toy.

  • Step 3

Stick a 1.5 inch length of wire into the hole and pull through until it's equal length on both sides. Twist the top tightly and cut tail leaving about 1/8 of an inch of wire. Make 2 jump rings out of wire by twisting it around the pliers. Attach together to form a chain.

Now take your earring hook (or you could make a key chain) and thread the last ring through. Close tightly, but not too tight so that the earrings can swing freely. Repeat with second earring. Now go scare your mother.
