Projects for Kelly Green Lace?
So I bought this really pretty Kelly green lace at Hancock ages ago and I was thinking of making a skirt but I'm uncertain of how to go about it... Tiered skirts a my favorite but the lace is synthetic and slides everywhere and I could just imagine the disaster that would be. So does anyone have any idea regarding green lace in general? I was starting to think a simple dress would be cool but I'd want to find a free pattern online because paper patterns these days are SO EXPENSIVE!
Also if anyone has simple skirt patterns that work well with lace or blouse ideas, frankly I'm open for ANYTHING regarding this fabric right now because it's so pretty and I want to find the perfect pattern for it and just haven't had much luck on my own.
Lace makes for really pretty chokers if it's cut right. I've got a shirt that has lace sewn around the collar and I love the way it looks.
If you really want to make something without the lace slipping around too much, use a few extra pins to hold it in place!
Putting it around a shirt collar sounds cool. I don't know how well it'll work with the color it is but I'll definitely try it out and see how it goes. Thanks!
I recently found this pattern for a dress, and it's quite simple, so I think you could give it a go with lace, oh and the best is, it's a free pattern

Hope this is useful
otherwise, I'd try an A-line dress, I have one of these in lace (didn't make it myself though) but it's a really nice style when using lace I think good luck!
An a-line dress would be really cute. Thanks!
Just so you know Joann's has $.50 pattern sales on a particular brand at least once a month. The hard part is finding out when they are :/
Really that's awesome I'll have to go hunting at Joann's sometime thanks!
I have a few tank-tops with lace around the bottom hem, & it makes them really cool & girly looking. It'd look better on a shirt or tank with a green print on it tho.
Or u can put cut-outs in a tee, with lace underneath. Or a whole back of a shirt as lace. ....thats all i can think of right now. lol good luck!
