I think Harry Potter was like that as well.

Harry Potter definatly and His Dark Materials, I'm already half way through the second book.Uusually it takes me ages to read a book cuz of my dyslexia but reading more is improving it, and now I've started to sort of skim read but I always have to re-read what I just skim read incase I missed anything! Reading a good book helps though, I think when I was younger I didn't read much because I couldn't find a good book! I can't put down The Dog's Mind by Bruce Fogle and this book about positive dog training either.

His Dark Materials for sure!

Cormac McCarthy The Road. That was such a great book and it's so small you get through it so fast!

Ooh... I love A Wrinkle in Time. I have about 6-8 copies of that book and there is no telling how many times I've read it! At least twice as much as I've read Harry Potter and I lost count at 34 when I was reading Harry Potter. And speaking of Children's(?) books, I just loved Howl's Moving Castle. So completely different from the movie, but each were absolutely perfect!

I really liked The Dreamland Chronicles by Wm. Mark Simmons. Read all three books in a day and a half because I couldn't stop.

Ooh, I liked that. And The Eureka Effect was interesting as well. And Eye and Brain, the Psychology of Seeing was very good, if a bit technical for a light read Tongue

Yeah, Twilight has that effect on people!! But it's a very easy read.
One book I couldn't put down is one from a Spanish writer called The Shadow of the Wind, I read it in spanish, and it was amazing! Also the Harry Potter series, and umm.... Silk, but that's a very short book.
Isn't it great when you find a book that's so awesome you'd rather stay home and read than go out and chill??
