Just started do the Couch to 5k in training for my 3k charity run in september. Anyone have any tips for running?

Go you! One tip that helped me was, rather than telling yourself to "get up and run every morning at 7am", just say, "I'll get up at 7am, put my gym clothes on and step out of the door".

That makes getting out of bed a lot easier, because you can always just turn around and go back to bed, but once you're all dressed you're usually in the mood to just go and do it!

I definitely second Cat on having everything ready to go the night before. Also a really good sports bra is important for me. I like the bravissimo shock absorber style. Bouncing is not a good look...

A cap is your friend when running in the rain

I ran 10km back in April and trained for it since Jan, what helped me was writing down what i was gonna do in my diary so how long/intervals and also any extra training like the les mills classes at my local gym (zumba, bodyshape, bodypump etc).

Plus like what Cat mentioned, be prepared the night before with your clothes etc. Except I am more of an evening runner/doing workouts so there was no 7am wake ups for me haha
