Amigurumi help!

Please guys,I need help with amigurumi pattern reading!Im going crazy!
Im not good at making stuff after patterns,so I make my own patterns most of the time. But I found some stuff that I really want to make the same as on the pattern.Could you help me?
This is the row that I dont understand, here it goes:
2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc around
Please dont think Im stupid... Happy I know sc means single crochet, but what does the two stand for?and what do they mean by first and next?
I can chrochet, but I dont know what I need to do,because I cant read the pattern.

ok it means to make 2 single crochet into the first single crochet of the previous round, does that make sense? then in the next single crochet only 1, so you are increasing the stitch number in this new round. i am gonna try and find a website visual for you!
