Pinterest Fail

I love pinterest and I'm alway on the look out for good ideas. However, some of the pins on pinterest, are let's say- not so great. Sometimes I wonder if these bloggers are all hauxing us just to get their blog ratings up or somehing. So I thought it'd be fun to share some of the pinterest fails everyone has come across so maybe we can save each other from making bad pinterest pins.

My most recent pinterest fails were both involving rose petals. The first was that rose petal sugar scrub that has been taking over pinterest. It stunk! Literally, it was the worst smelling sugar scrub I've ever used. The second thing I attempted was rose oil using several pinner's advice to let the rose petal cure in oil for 4 weeks. Only it ended up molding after a week! EEWWW! It was so gross. I've learned my lesson about following rose petal tutorials now. The only one I'll ever do again is my rose petal face mask- I know that works.

I have so many. I'll just list a few.

Cookie bowls (you need a special type of dough...)
Tinted jars
DIY Mod podge (never actually tried this, but don't try it. Mod podge isn't glue diluted with water. Please don't make that)
Photo canvases, DIY (Some don't' work and just look like crap.)
IDIY LED light clouds (They're complicated and they require a special type of material to look like clouds)

I have so many, I had to make a Bobbin emoticon for it! Fail

My last one was trying to make a hollowed out book. It was all going perfectly until I decided to cut a shape out of the cover and then I realised I'd cut the shape out upside down. Boooooo Annoyed
