Too Small for me advise

Hey guys,

I went to a gig the other night and bought the band's t-shirt in a size M, only to realise it's actually to small for me.
I'm a big breasted girl and just look like a sausage in it.
The logo's at the front and I was trying to find a way to recycle my t-shirt. Any idea? I've already seen the vest but was hoping for a few more ideas before I make my choice.

thanks for your help guys!

Auds

There are many ideas on CO+K. You can turn it into a bag, a pencil case, and even a drawstring backpack. You can also just search it on Google. Hope this helped!

Hi Audrey. You could open up the side seams, add some eyelets and thread thick ribbon through.

You may have to put some interfacing on the inside so the eyelets don't rip the fabric.

I was thinking of what Sheila said, but wasn't sure how to express the idea. ;)

GOOD LUCK!!!! It sucks when things aren't labeled properly or run small. Happy

If you don't want to do eyelets and lacing, you could open the seams and put some fabric from an old tee or just fabric you have lying around in. Like an inch or two each side and that would add 2-4 inches overall.

This is what I mean:

Check out the rest of the site too - I get lots of inspiration with what to do with my tops from there.

Just had another browse. Here is a tutorial for inserting extra fabric at the seams:

There is two books Generation T that is all about cutting up and remaking the Tee shirt. Pop by your location library and see if they have a copy to browse. Oh and they have a website turns out.

p.s if it is just tight around the breast cut the top to either be a scoop neck or v neck that will (hopefuly) leave the band logo intact and give some more room for the chest.
