Lush

Hm, I'm not sure what to think about Lush. Some products smell really good, and I'd really love to try one of the bath bombs, but I don't have a bathtub. =(
But on the other side, they are always saying how very eco-friendly and natural their soaps are, yet I've never seen any seal which cetificates this. So basicly, they can tell their costumers anything. And I really don't understand why they put sodium lauryl sulfate into almost everything, even in hair treatments. o_O

on the back of their products is the ingrediants list, which list as natural as possible, straight from the source ingrediants, on their website you can look up the ingrediants incase they dont seem natural, the proof is in the eerr...pudding!? since they look like puddings!

I will defend lush to the death because they seriously do try to get materials that are good for everyone and the environment, I don't see the company as this big evil, faceless money making machine and that's part of why I love it so much. They're friendly without being too 'we're a shop and we like a nice image for our customers so they buy stuff'. There aren't a lot of cobbildegook ingrediants on the back of their stuff like there is in 'normal' products.

but now I feel bad for owning 'normal' products lol

Well, I prefer natural cosmetics, which can actually prove that their incredients are natural.
I know which ingredients Lush use and I know that most of them are not mixed in a laboratory, but that does not mean that they grew on eco-firendly plantations without the use of pesticides.
I won't believe anything unless it's proven, it's as simple as that. And besides, I don't understand why they wouldn't want to get a eco-seal if they could.

You saying you would defend Lush to death kinda shows how good they are in creating a nice image. ^^
