Jake the Dog from Adventure Time & Pokemon Pikachu
This is a protective carry case for a 3DS XL.
The case has satin lining so that the fleece material does not cause any fluff or dust to go into the DS.
It has a Velcro closing but you could add any fastening method that suits you.
It is pretty easy to make.
The Pokemon Pikachu is made in the same way only the face detail is different.

Step 1Measure how big the DS is and give yourself a bit extra to have the cover overlap for fastening shut.
Cut two rectangle's of both the outer fabric and the lining material.

Step 2Cut out the eye shape, nose shape & the droopy mouth shape for the face.
Sew them onto the middle back of the outer layer.

Step 3Pin both bags along the sides and sew.
Pin and sew the two bags together at the end that is not the flap to close.

Step 4Attach the Velcro fastening to both parts of the bag. Sew in place.

Step 5Fold the top flap so all raw edges are unseen and sew the last parts of the bag together.
