How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I found out about CO+K on Facebook, I think. LOL I joined because I was interested in finding creative and unique DIY's.

What does your craft space look like?
I live in an apartment with my family. My usual crafting spaces are the dining area or the living room (depending on the craft). LOL Finding space and time can be a bit challenging with kids and lack of "me" space.
Crocheting happens in the living room, everything else happens on the dining room table.
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
I have several tools I use frequently. My crochet hooks, my glue gun, mod podge. I was gifted a sewing machine for Mother's Day, I hope to master that, and use as much as the other tools.
What do you craft along to?
Depends on my mood and what I am crafting.
I usually crochet while watching HGTV shows like Rehab Addict, Property Brothers, or Buying & Selling with the Property Brothers (I don't know why, it just happens that way).
If I am working on a tutorial, I listen to my Salsa Music or Dance/Techno stations on Pandora.
While I am learning to sew, I usually like it quiet, I like the sound of the sewing machine.

Favorite Craft
I enjoy crocheting. I find it relaxing and a great stress reliever. My favorite things to make are hats and amigurumi. I am expanding to more crochet items like scarves, cushions/pillows, clothes.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I would like to learn how to make pottery. It looks so relaxing. I don't know how coordinated I am to spin the wheel and create with my hands at the same time. LOL
Who are your crafting heroes?
I don't know if I have any crafting heroes per se. I come from a creative family, so some of us are always creating something. If anything I am inspired by some of my family members.
As a kid, I remember my mom taking sewing classes when we lived in Brooklyn, NY. I always thought it was really cool to see the learning process of making a pattern to putting it all together.
My aunt. She's been crocheting for a long time and was taught by her mother (I learned online). She makes some of the prettiest items I have ever seen. Her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cheryl-Loves-Crochet/170681839756002
