How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I found CO+K while searching for DIY tutorials on google back in 2011 and joined because I felt right at home.
What projects are you currently working on?
my most recent crafting project is a sponge bob pinata. I'm making a version from http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/spongebob-pinata I'll post my version as soon as I complete it.

What does your craft space look like?

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
The tools I use the most are my painting brushes, drawing pencils, cake decorating tips, and sewing machine.
What do you craft along to?
When I'm crafting I like to listen to a mix of Iron and Wine, Birdy, Lana Del Rey, DCFC, Bon Iver, Sia, Maria Mena. Just mellow tunes. I find that if I listen to something with a beat to it I get distracted and start dancing.

I enjoy painting/drawing, cake decorating and sewing the most. Painting and drawing especially since it helps me relax.
Maria's Top Crafts
If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I want to learn how to make awesome custom cakes and become the next cake boss! Maybe a little too ambitious but I'm still going to try and improve my cake decorating skills.
Who are your crafting heroes?
My oldest sister is very crafty. Watching her craft inspires me. TheSecretLifeOfABioNerd is one of my favorites from youtube. The way she explains her sewing tutorials makes it easy to follow. Thread Banger are also very creative, and the creators of CO+K for making this site and allowing us DIY lovers to come together and share ideas.

Caught In Freedom - I liked the story behind the painting, and shared some of her feeling. Little Peach Cakes - These are just so adorable and I will be making my own version soon. Cheeseburger Cupcakes - The cheeseburger cupcakes are very cute I had to make my own.
