How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
Cat Morley and me were at university together and so I have known it for a long time and even at the very beginning when CO+K was just a little tiny wee baby blog and I have seen it grow into the masterpiece it is today- amazing journey to watch.
What projects are you currently working on?
I am working on many things all at once. I am almost ready to get my first laser cut doll produced. I also have a black monster type creature to finish that you can see in my photos. Some happy stars and various new pot heads and new creatures to introduce, plus two very exciting collaboration projects which are top secret at the moment so keep a look out on Strawberry Anarchy and all shall be revealed in the future :)

What does your craft space look like?
It normally stays tidy for a day then it’s back to a cluttered mess but I'm getting slightly better at keeping it organised as time goes on. As you can see from the photos it’s organised chaos!
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
I love my purple destiny pliers and my two lazy Susan spinners on my desk, One is a shelving unit I found in the charity shop for £7.50 which I believe is a spice rack and the other is a pen and tool holder- love them.
What do you craft along to?
I am really into watching documentaries; I am also working my way through the top most influential audio books. Some of the latest documentaries I have watched lately include… Exit Through the Gift Shop, Kurt and Courtney, Indie Game the Movie, The Secret, Scratch, Punks not Dead, DMT The Spirit Molecule, Being Elmo and The King of Kong. Music I'm listening to lately- Fever Ray, Polica , Angus and Julia Stone, Portishead and if I need new things I go visit madmoizelle on you tube, they normally have some nice talent.

Favorite Craft
I would have to say Polymer clay is my favourite thing to play with probably because I loved plah Doh as a child. It’s really therapeutic and I find it much easier to make something in 3D rather than drawing it. In 3d I can imagine my creations coming to life and how they would walk, talk, act and move. I love to make magical creatures from Strawberry Anarchy, the strange world that all my weird and wonderful creatures and characters come from. I also make jewellery and have been known to make wands, and L.E.D paintings. I love to mix glass, Lights (L.E.D’S) and polymer clay. I enjoy learning new crafts to store in the bank of crafty knowledge so some where down the line I can pull ideas from and perhaps add them together to make a completely new thing. It’s all very exciting.
Miquette's Top Crafts
If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn glass arts - lamp work and how to blow glass, I would just love to be able to make my own glass vials and tubes one day. Glass creations look so magical and gleam with beauty. There is something I just really like about glass and that is why I like to include it in my work a lot.
Who are your crafting heroes?
I have too many to mention here but people I really admire are my mammy because she is the best borrower. She has such a creative problem-solving mind and can think up solutions to everything using different bits and bobs lying around the place. She is always making little inventions for the house and garden and since I have moved to Edinburgh she has really helped improve the organisation here. There are so many good artists out there it’s really hard to narrow it down but Plush artist Ogl doll is a new favourite, Whimsical Lush, Beat Black and House Of Wonderland are all excellent too.
