How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
Cat invited me to share some of my projects earlier this year. I love the community and I get new good ideas every time I visit!
What projects are you currently working on?
I'm gearing up to do a good bit of sewing. It's not necessarily in my comfort zone to try and make my own clothes, but I've wanted to give it a go for such a long time. My first project is a bikini from a vintage pattern. Crazy, I know. Wish me luck!

What does your craft space look like?
I have a tiny blue room at the top of the stairs in our home that is dedicated 30% to crafting and 70% to craft storage! I have a terrible habit of hoarding all kinds of supplies. I'm looking forward to moving soon and having the opportunity to reorganize quite a bit. It's so crowded that occasionally I lose the dog!
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
I would have to say washi tape. Whether it's in the spotlight or simply holding things together off-camera, it's one of my favorite tools.
What do you craft along to?
I watch Netflix on my laptop while I craft -- classic episodes of "The X-Files," and lately I've been just losing myself in "Call the Midwife."
Who are your crafting heroes? Martha Stewart! Her organizational skills dazzle me...not to mention her business acumen.

Favorite Craft
I absolutely love to knit (although I'm not very good and most of my projects take quite awhile), and I tend to go through phases with other things. Lately it's been embroidery!

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I've loved seeing woven wall hangings about lately. I just pinned this one this morning and can't wait to try!

I love the industrial/vintage look of the mounted shelving unit from Almost Makes Perfect. Christopher Stuart's hanging chair is just beyond dreamy...can't you imagine it on the front porch with a cup of iced coffee and a book? And I'm crazy about Tiny Sidekick's West Elm-inspired tripod lamp.
