How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I was browsing Pinterest when a link led me to CO+K. I knew as soon as I saw the front page I had found a new home.

What projects are you currently working on?

I’m so close to posting a tutorial on my version of Princess Peaches Dress. I just have to take some nice pictures of the finished product. I’m also trying to make some art work to hang on my walls and I have about 3 half made dresses that are sitting there waiting to be sewn together!

What does your craft space look like?

When I’m in the middle of a project you can’t see the floor because it’s covered with...everything! As soon I've finished though, I sort it all out and organize my draws and desk. You can’t see it in the pictures but underneath my desk are about 10 boxes filled with all different craft materials; it’s a bit crazy under there.

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

At the moment it’s my sewing machine.

What do you craft along to?

I like crafting with noise so I usually put on a movie that I've seen; recently it’s been Marvel movies! I also like popping on Disney movies so I can sing along.

Favorite Craft

Lately I have been making a lot of my own clothes; just working with different materials and patterns to try and create something unique is so much fun. I have learnt so many new techniques.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I would really like to expand my knowledge on dress making, it would be so fun to create a huge and intricate dress/costume. Maybe a big peacock dress with enormous feathers or a mermaid inspired dress with hundreds of panels of material for the scales.

Who are your crafting heroes?

There is a girl that I went to uni with named Caylie who makes the most adorable felt toys and knitted goodies. I own 3 felt toys, two hats, two gloves and multiple drawing. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Creature-Workshop/297571943706717

I’m also a big fan of Paper cutting, especially Rob Ryans. Anyone who does that gets my attention and admiration because I've only done small ones and wow, they took forever!
