Featured Member Interview
How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
There was a trend back in 2008 about rainbow cookies and cupcakes. I was obsessed with baking and making cookies look fun and I found a great recipe on Cut Out + Keep.
What projects are you currently working on?
Photography is one of my passions so lately I've been working on props for pictures and I've been also working with a light painting technique.

What does your craft space look like?
My crafting space is really small. Since my apartment is tiny I use a table on the back of the kitchen/laundry room. I just have a cutting mat, my reliable sewing machine, a couple of shelves with different jars of stuff like thread, ribbon, feathers and embelishments, my crafting tools, a can of buttons and some fabric.
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
My sewing machine is the tool i use the most. I use it to make plushies or bags. Recently I had to make a dress for a Roman Party so It was really fast to just pop it up on the sewing machine.
What do you craft along to?
My go to music is Miami Horror's "All Posible Futures" album when i need to concentrate or make things fast, but if I have enough time to make something I usually pop in my Bachata and Kizomba playlist.
Gaby's Most Popular Projects
Favorite Craft
I absolutely love recycling, making things out of stuff that no longer has a purpose. I started to follow the D. I. Y. movement because I couldn't afford certain things. My first projects were totes and messenger bags made out of old jeans and an old school uniform i had laying around.

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to watercolor. I've been practicing but its a complex technique that requires a lot of patience or a heat gun.
Who are your crafting heroes?
Rob and Corinne were one of the first chanels I started to follow. I loved their old videos when they used to revamp their clothes. Nowadays With Wendy has the best tutorials on making clothes, Kawaiisweetworld has the most amazing tutorials on baking fun snacks and Sea Lemon's tutorials on drawing, painting and making stationery are my favorites.
