When did you first start making jewelry and how did you learn?
I started playing with jewelry making as a child along with other crafts. I love to learn and have taught myself everything I know.
Can you remember the first piece you made?
Actually, no. I don't remember the first piece I made. I've made so many pieces in 30+ years.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Nature is what inspires me most - flowers, trees, birds, fish, all of it. I also enjoy looking at jewelry from ancient times and various cultures. I love ethnic, bohemian and tribal jewelry.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
I love to make jewelry, crochet. I make all kinds of things from drawing and painting, to birdhouses. I generally create at my kitchen table when it is not in use although I have a huge craft room. The view from my kitchen is awesome. It overlooks the hills, meadows and farms nearby.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
Not really. I enjoy a quiet place where I can watch the birds at my feeders.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I also love to crochet, draw and paint, play classical guitar, play Taiko drums, cook and absolutely love gardening. I have a degree in Natural Health/Herbal Studies so I'm always learning about herbs for use as medicines and spices.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thank you for featuring me and my jewelry.
