How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
I think I am fairly unique in the type of nail art I do. I love intricate detail that is still understated and different and I usually try to accomplish this with free hand painting. I love vibrant and bright colors and I often use creme polishes over glitter ones. My nail icons would have to be Coewless and Blog Nailed It.
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye-liner in Rockstar, Mascara, Make-Up Forever foundation, a lip tint, and a nail file.
What is your beauty routine like?
My nail routine consists of removing any excess polish with acetone and filing my nails down so I have a nice even edge. I'll do some cuticle care with Sally Hansen's cuticle remover and finish it off with Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream to keep them moisturized. Before I start my nail art, I use a coat of OPI's Nail Envy to ensure strong nails, and then I paint away.
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Florence Welch. I know she would be willing to try anything. She has amazing red hair so I think I would want to do some nail art in an emerald or vibrant green to contrast with her coloring.
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
Push yourself to go out of your comfort zone! Try nail art challenges to learn new techniques and styles.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Nail art is fairly time consuming, but in my free time, you can find me reading, doing yoga, or wrestling with my dog Fonzi.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thanks for reading and I would love to see any and all of your recreations :)
