When did you first start making jewelry and how did you learn?
I began jewelry in the early 1990s making pieces from recycled leather. I tried my hand at bead looms and stitched pieces. I now make a wide variety of pieces from many different materials including wire, sheet metal, crystals, leather, and glass using an even wider variety of techniques.
Can you remember the first piece you made?
I made a rather hideous leather cuff bracelet from an old purse.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I look every where for inspiration. You just never know what will spur creativity.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
I have a little studio we built using part of our carport area. It is my sacred space to create...although sometimes I confiscate the dining room table.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
I am always listening to music or just the sounds of nature coming in through the open window.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I paint, draw, and write.
