When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
I loved watching the Food Network as a child. As I grew, my love turned to cookbooks and finally, to food blogs. I remember baking cookies and cupcakes as a child (which now, thinking back, my decorating was totally embarrassing!) Breaded mushrooms also standout to me.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
My kitchen is way too small for what I do in it, but one day I will have the ultimate kitchen :) New butcher block countertops, along with my large, single bowl sink, has made my kitchen home to me.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Cook what you want to eat. You won't enjoy your journey of becoming a better cook if you do not create what you enjoy.
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
My two biggest critics (and helpers), my husband and daughter. They are my test-testers :)
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love DIY home projects such as painting and remodels. Crocheting has always been a hobby of mine. Reading and writing are my go-to stress relievers, and probably the number one reason why I blog.
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Enjoy what you do, take your time, and never give up!
