Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
I love our house because it's a work in progress. Since we moved in about a year a half ago, I've been slowly decorating and filling the blank walls (and blogging about it!). I also love that my tech-savvy husband has installed loads of smart products that streamline our lives and create a little more everyday convenience.
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
I found out I was pregnant with our first child a few weeks before we moved into our first house. The first DIY project I did (before the boxes were even unpacked!) was paint a Calvin and Hobbes mural in the nursery. I have virtually no artistic ability, but I used a projector and the mural came out better than I could have hoped!
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
I'm not the most organized person by nature, but I make an effort to declutter once every few months. Nothing stresses me out more than clutter! It helps that I'm not the most sentimental person, so I don't feel the need to hang on to things.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV's Fixer Upper.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
1. Recessed lighting everywhere. 2. Marble countertops. 3. More storage!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I'm addicted to Pinterest and love finding new DIY projects to try.
