When did you first start crafting and how did you learn?
My mom was crafty and we always crafted as children, but then with nurses training, marriage and a young family I didn't keep it up. Then in 1997 I discovered Stamping!
Can you remember the first thing you made?
Yes, a Card and I still have it. It was a single layer of white card stock and on the card front I stamped a cardinal bird on holly in black and sponged pastel chalks with a cotton swab on it i green and red and then stamped the greeting Merry Christmas below. Pretty simple but I felt like I had just created the Mona Lisa.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Pinterest is my number one go to place for inspiration. I also sometimes do a google image search for particular stamp sets I have to find ideas.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
My stamp room is 11 x 12 with a beautiful large arched window I can look out of while I stamp. You can take a video tour of my stamp room on my YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/7YRGZUA4f_s
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
Mostly I craft in silence but when I want to be inspired by music I listen to Norah Jones or Adele.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Between work (which is really playing as my grandchildren would say) I love to spend time with family. My husband of 40+ years and I love car trips across the US and we enjoy Kayaking in the summer and time with our adult children and their families. My favorite past time when not stamping is reading.
