What are your hobbies?
I live in Colorado so whenever I love going into the mountains! I‘ve been snowboarding for many years now and I’d love to try skiing again. I’m hoping to go snow shoeing for the first time this Winter!?
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
Lately, I’ve really got into crocheting. It’s fun to make my own scarves and headbands, and its something I can do while watching TV or settling down for bed. But sewing is probably my first love. I’ve made a few dresses and despite the fact it really takes a lot of time, they have been the most rewarding projects.?
What do you craft along to?
Pandora radio – so I don’t have to think about it, or reality TV. My guilty pleasures are The Hills and The City (even though they are no longer airing), and The Kardashians – because they are hilarious!
What was the first project you ever made?
Well, I’m the product of my mom so I’ve been making things my whole life… It’s tough to say what was my first project. The first big project was a dress made out of thrift store fabric scraps. What are your favorite items to make?
I really like working with fabric. I’m obsessed with Project Runway and always get inspired when I watch it. I love to go to thrift stores and find fabric or used accessories that I can revamp into something new. ?
