What are your hobbies?
I love baking. It's a weakness. I want to get a donut pan so I can bake donuts constantly. I also play the piano, dabble in photography, paint with watercolors, read, sew, and embroider.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
My favorite crafts are knitting & crochet - my mum taught me how to crochet years and years ago, and I've never stopped! I also love making jewelry, a self-taught skill, and I recently combined my crochet and jewelry-making into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for my Etsy shop.
My craft space is small, but it's mine. I have a big, fold-up table that holds my laptop, printer, workspace, and most of my jewelry supplies. I also have a darling vintage orange chair where I do most of my crocheting. I have a little dry erase board that always has a to-do list going, and a bulletin board full of inspiration and encouragement cards.
What do you craft along to?
My Spotify playlists always come in handy, and I've been known to binge-watch Parks & Rec while I craft. I recently discovered the podcast She Percolates, too - it's a podcast specifically for women who are small business owners. Definitely recommend!
What was the first project you ever made?
It was a strange little doll blanket for my Barbies. I tried making a rectangle, but it ended up looking more like a trapezoid.
What are your favorite items to make?
Lace jewelry! During the fall & winter I love making fingerless gloves, sweaters, beanies, and infinity scarves.
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
I love A Beautiful Mess (who doesn't!?), The Merriweather Council Blog, DesignLoveFest, Paper 'n Stitch, and Craftsposure.
