When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?
I started crocheting in 2012 and I learned through YouTube and blogs. My mother taught me how to knit when I was a child and I picked it up recently, again.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
A crochet triangle shawl.
Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?
My favorite pattern designers are Alexi, from Two of Wands and Heidy May from The Velvet Acorn. Inspiring and out of the box designs and amazing productivity!
What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?
I don't believe I have a favorite. My preferences change with season, time and my mood.
Usually my latest design is my favorite item, but this changes with every new item, I think. So, for now, it is my Aberdeen shawl.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?
I love listening to jazz music, instagram lives from creative people I follow, a ton of crochet and knit podcasts like "The creative yarn enterpreneur" and Bhooked's podcast and many many more.
My go-to TV shows are Gilmore Girls (of course), How I Met Your Mother and Grey's Anatomy.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love everything yarn and fiber related! I do a little macrame and experimenting on yarn dyeing on the side. Recently I discovered the art of brush lettering and trying my hand on doodling, also.
