How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
My style is ever evolving, and it's different depending on what mode I'm in. E.g. when I'm in mom mode, I tend to go for more relaxed outfits with wedge sandals. At work I'm all corporate (with some glam thrown in of course!), and when going out I'm all about glamming it up.
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
A compact powder with mirror, several lipsticks, various perfume samples.
What is your beauty routine like?
I tend to keep things simple and fuss free. I'm not one to apply serums and lotions and oils, etc. I wash my face at night with a cleanser I buy from the pharmacy that a dermatologist recommended to me 20 years ago (!), then moisturise with Sukin night cream. In the morning I just wash it with warm water and moisturise with Sukin day cream. Sukin is an Australian brand, for those not familiar with it, and their range is all around the $10 mark.
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Kristen Stewart. I'd give her brighter lips and brighter cheeks and tell her to smile more!
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
I say just do it, but make sure that you're not blindly following trends and it's a look that will suit your lifestyle and your personality. If you're not comfortable in your new look, then it will show and you'll just look as awkward as you feel.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
As I have a toddler son I don't have much time to craft. When I do eventually craft I go for things that take no time at all, i.e. that can be done during my son's nap time. So painting my necklace with nail polish, or dying my shoes a different colour are as crafty as I get right now.
