When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
Puh, that was a long time ago. I learned sewing in class and quickly outgrew the easy templates and required projects of bedding and bags and learned to sew skirts and tops and dresses. However I didn't practice sewing for a long time and recently revisited it to upcycle my old clothes.
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I love to follow different Fashion Blogs with very different styles to get excited about fashion. From Free People to Style Scrapbook, from Cocarosa to Song of Style. But I also love Street Fashion Blogs like the Sartorialist.
It's not about the person but the style and creative ideas they have wearing the clothes.
What are your ultimate style tips?
Go with what you like. I hate it when people say: I look good in that but it's not really my style. When you like it, and you look good in it, wear it.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I don't look for celebrities for fashion advice and I don't obsess over one piece of clothing so much. When I like something that's not available for me I try to either buy something similar or DIY it.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
As mentioned above: a lot. I flick through the images of Ring My Bell, Styleheroine or Vienna Wedekind. I love the style of Sincerly Jules.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I don't limit myself to fashion crafts but DIY a lot for my home too. I love to work with all kinds of materials and tools – I think that's when you get the most creative.
