What are your hobbies?
We both love working on our business, spending time with our families, reading and shopping for vintage goods.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
Our favorite crafts include things we make to adorn ourselves or our homes. When we see something that inspires us, we love the challenge of creating something of our own that emulates that style. We each have our own craft spaces ... small rooms in our homes carved out to provide space for our creative endeavors. We keep our supplies, vintage pieces and ephemera for inspiration and table space for spreading out our current projects.
What do you craft along to?
We both love to listen to entrepreneur podcasts. Zandra loves NPR and Karen June works to the tunes of her favorite local college radio station.
What was the first project you ever made?
Karen June - Potholders her mother's kitchen using a kids loom.
Zandra - Curtains for the chicken coop she transformed into her own apartment.
What are your favorite items to make?
We both like making items to adorn ourselves and our homes. Zandra is particularly drawn to decoupage and Karen June to hand embroidery.
