What are your hobbies?
Thrifting, photography and homemaking are my passions. I relish working in my garden and being out in nature. I love reading, especially nonfiction, learning, and trying new things. I have a fondness for goats. But especially I love going through piles of things in thrift stores.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
The main thrust of my blog, aside from creative domesticity, is trying to find practical applications for thrifted items in everyday life, so my very favorite type of craft involves transforming something I found at a thrift store.
What do you craft along to?
Radio Lab, Star Trek (I'm working my way through DS9 again), and anything British that I find on Netflix.
What was the first project you ever made?
Lord, no. I just really remember hating all the stuff I made when I tried to follow instructions, like, say, pattern for a paper bag puppet. I only really liked the stuff I made where I just decided to sit there and make stuff and not worry about the outcome or how it was supposed to look.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?
The wonderful thing about a hobby such as crafting is that there's room for everyone: the die-hard crafters, the hobbyists, the person who doodles while on the phone, the dedicated artisan. We all have things to offer.
