What are your hobbies?
I enjoy writing (especially on my blog) and designing and keeping planted aquariums. I also spend a lot of time training our new puppy and taking deliciously long bubble baths with a good book.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
Paper crafts- they are forgiving and quick!
What do you craft along to?
I enjoy crafting to music by Journey, Anne Murray, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Simon and Garfunkle, Alison Krauss, Indigo Girls, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Joel, Gilbert & Sullivan, ABBA, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and lots more. My playlist spans the genres and ages. I frequently make stuff while watching shows like Burn Notice, Haven, Psych. I also do a lot of crafting to the Old Testament these days because I'm teaching an early morning Seminary class and listening to it lets me prep while I create.
What was the first project you ever made?
I was raised by an artist and I had art supplies on my highchair that I played with as soon as I had the dexterity to pick them up. Some of my early achievements were a pencil holder and a traced drawing of panda bears.
What are your favorite items to make?
I enjoy making cards the most because I get to give them away and make other people happy.
