When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
It was about four years ago. I had just graduated from college and I was still making minimum wage flipping cheeseburgers. I was depressed, sad, and basically jobless. I started trying to teach myself to sew with my mom's old sewing machine I found in our basement. It was so relaxing and surprisingly fun! I guess I'm hooked for life--because since that time I'd dabbled in knitting, crochet, watercolor, and sewing.
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I love Ester from the stitcks (http://esther-fromthesticks.blogspot.com/) and Magical day dream (http://www.magicaldaydream.com/)
What are your ultimate style tips?
Know your shape. Realize that everyone's body is unique--and that companies mostly the "one size fits all"--when sadly, one size does not fit all shapes. Just be you, and have fun! Style and fashion is never supposed to be negative.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
Anything, and I mean anything, that Mary Kate Olsen wears. Anything.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
My ultimate favorite fashion blogger is PopChampagne. http://www.popchampagneblog.com/
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love to knit, take care of my husband, and am currently attempting the world record for largest yarn stash. Oh, and I love silly hats.
