What are your hobbies?
T and M: travelling and cooking!
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
T: My favourite crafts are knitting, printing, and sewing. I keep everything in a wicker basket that I can lug around with me; my apartment is too small for a dedicated craft space!
M: My favourite crafts are crocheting, sewing, beading, and quilting. Like Tomiko, my apartment is small and I don't have a dedicated craft space. I keep my work-in-progress in a canvas bag that I take to craft circles, but all my supplies are stored under my bed!
What do you craft along to?
T: Books on tape, especially Harry Potter (notice a pattern here?)
M: I like watching movies or shows that I've seen before, so I don't need to pay too much attention (e.g. Harry Potter!, Lord of the Rings, silly comedies)
What was the first project you ever made?
T: we've been crafting our whole lives, but the first thing I remember making peg people out of wooden clothes pegs.
M: I remember going to the basement of my primary school for craft time during recess. I appliqued some scrap hexagons on to a piece of linen that I eventually made into a pillow.
What are your favorite items to make?
T: Useful things, like those I can wear or use in my house.
M: Useful, beautiful things like scarves, hats, quilts, or jewelry. I also like making things for friends and family.
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
T and M: we love Purl Bee for anti-cat-barf yarn inspiration.
