Have you always been creative and what’s the earliest work you can remember creating?
I've always been creative!! I used to doodle in my notebooks at school instead of listening to the teacher. I loved all kinds of art and have tried, drawing, painting, sculpting and paper crafting but my favorite is mixed media.
What's your studio like and how do you keep organised?
My studio is a room in my house with lots of Ikea cabinets to store my stuff. I don't like organizing it so its often very messy. My desk is especially messy but when I create videos you can't tell as the main area is free of clutter.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I look for inspiration everywhere. I get inspired by other artists online. I love to get inspired by nature and urban landscapes. I love steam punk but also shabby chic styles. I basically love anything related to art.
Whats in your pencil case / camera bag?
My top drawer has my most essential tools, paint brushes, palette knives, silicone brush and markers.
Any tips for someone suffering from creative block?
I have a full video dedicated to this on my youtube channel as it happens to me often. I usually try to get inspired by something I see and then just take my art journal and experiment. I like to play without thinking and let my intuition take charge. If I see that I'm still blocked I will often walk away and do something fun that's not artistically related.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I do scrapbooking and card making, I also love to read and watch TV. My favorite thing to do is travel!!
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I want everyone to always be encourage to create and experiment no matter what the results are. Its so important to just be free to let your imagination soar without caring about what others think of your work.
