What are your hobbies?
I enjoy running and swimming, playing the piano, and teaching 9th grade English.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
For myself, I love to crochet. Mostly, I spend my time doing crafts with my kiddos, and for that, I just like anything they can do with minimal house destruction.
My craft space is currently the kitchen table and a shelf or two in the pantry for storage. I believe in making do!
What do you craft along to?
I love to work just about anywhere. I crochet during staff meetings and church, make wigs while I watch movies, and play music while I paint and sew.
What was the first project you ever made?
I'm not sure what the first thing I ever made was, but I do remember my first crochet project. It was a snake made out of chains that I had rolled to create a head. I glued a wiggle eye on either side of the roll and a jingle bell to her tail. She was pink, and I creatively called her "Pinky." My mom still has her in a box with the other keepsakes.
What are your favorite items to make?
I love making things for other people. Right now, I'm working on learning to make all of the Disney princess wig designs for the Magic Yarn Project (they give character wigs to kids with cancer). I've mastered Rapunzel and now it's on to Ariel!
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
I love Heather Handmade, Ensign Insights, and Crafty Kids at Home.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thanks for letting me share my projects with you! Keep on crafting!
