When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?

I think I've actually become less adventurous with fashion as the years have gone by. When I was 12, I was the only kid in my school who would wear mismatching socks- for which I was teased mercilessly- crochet lace pants, a vest a beret (not all at the same time, of course!)...

But as the years have gone by, I've become more preoccupied with whether I look fat in an outfit, than expressing myself through fashion. So my resolution for the rest of 2015 is to go back to the adventurous, confident girl I used to be :)

As for crafting, I don't remember a time when I didn't craft, even if it was something as simple as stringing beads together- which is something we've all done as kids, whether we remember it or not :) I've never had design training so if I can make it, so can you :)

Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?

To be honest, I don't really follow any of the famous fashionistas- I love looking at their photos but a lot of their styles wouldn't work for me because they have such perfect figures! :) That said, t love how Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper girl styles her shots- she always looks so groomed and the photos are just so atmospheric! But at the same time, I know I could never look like that! I'm much more low maintenance :)

Designers- too many! :)

What are your ultimate style tips?

I think the most stylish person is not the one who has the prettiest clothes but the one who can turn something ordinary into something different- put their own spin on it :)

If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?

Their budget! :P

Which fashion blogs do you love to read?

I don't really read fashion blogs- I prefer DIY blogs- but I LOVE fashion instagram accounts, such as Gary Pepper Girl, A Pair & A Spare, Park & Cube and, most of all, Yoyokulala- She's not only based in my home city- feels a little more undiscovered than the others :)

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

When I was younger, you never saw me anywhere without a camera. I didn't take great shots- actually I took terrible ones- but what I did was take lots and lots of candid ones because I loved the idea of preserving a moment in time :) So it's probably no surprise that I love scrapbooking (and other paper crafts) now :)

Hobbies... Horse-riding! It's more like my life, so I don't know if it could count as a hobby :P Does shopping count? LOL

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Thank you for inviting me to be part of this amazing initiative! :)
