What are your hobbies?
I am an elementary school librarian, so when I am not doing something crafty, I am probably reading a book and keeping up with the latest happenings in children's literature.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
It's really hard for me to pick a favorite craft. I love crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, baking, and the list could go on and on for a long time! But since I've been crocheting for most of my life, I guess I would have to go with that! Really I love anything and everything that requires yarn or needles!
My husband and I currently live in a rather small duplex, so I do not actually have room for a designated craft space. I generally end up crafting on the couch in my pajamas with a huge basket of yarn!
What do you craft along to?
If I'm doing any sort of crafting, I can pretty much guarantee that Netflix is playing something in the background! Most of the time, it's reruns of Friends!
What was the first project you ever made?
When I was in elementary school, one of my friends taught me how to crochet a hacky sack on the playground. After that, I was determined to teach myself how to crochet! It took A LOT of trial and error, but I'd say I've got the hang of it now! :)
What are your favorite items to make?
I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a very long attention span. So I really like making items that I can finish within a weekend. If the end is nowhere in sight, I tend to get bored!
